Men of yoga, grab the last spot on this soulful yoga journey in Ibiza

The Mat Movement is the collaboration of Pete and Collette. Two wanderers and writers who share a gift for taking care of people and bringing them together through yoga, food and wellness. Travelling the world, they’ve hunted out the perfect venues to host their brand of soulful yoga journeys in Bali, Europe and India. September sees them hosting at their favourite venue in the whole wide world. And guess what, there’s just one spot left, for a fella!

Where is it?

Hidden away in a pine forest in the peaceful North of Ibiza, you’ll fly to the airport in the South and make your way North towards Sant Lorenc.


When is it?

September 23-28th. Ibizan weather is amazing at this time and the retreat is planned perfectly to offer a sumptuous extension to the summer.

How many yogis will be there?

10 guests will join Pete and Collette to make 12 in total. 9 guests are already booked and 7 of these have been on retreat with The Mat Movement at some time before, so there’ll be 3 newbies including you.


Why is the space for a man?

Unlike many other retreats, these guys host a good split of men and women. There’ll be six women and four men here in Ibiza. The last spot is to share a luxury twin room and with the lovely, Josh.

What style of yoga can I expect?

Long mornings include meditation, pranayama and a dynamic practice. Evenings will be gentler yin. Collette leads all things on the deck and she’s trained in anusara, Forrest and Embodied Flow yin amongst other styles. Check out Col’s yoga style.


What’s the program?

Everything is optional but things start on the deck with meditation and pranayama from around 7. A long dynamic practice follows before a big hot and cold brunch. Evening practice start around 5pm and is closed with more vegetarian delights.

Tell me more about the food

Pete creates vegetarian food that inspires, delights and tastes better than anything you’ve had all year. Plant-based with selected eggy and cheesy treats for those who don’t want to go full vegan. All delicious. All wholesome. All prepared with love. Here’s a sample menu from the same retreat in 2015.
